This turmeric soda recipe is one of the most pleasant ways of consuming this magnificent herb. 2 tbs turmeric (powdered or grated)
Juice of 1 1/2 lemons or limes
4 cups of cold filtered or sparkling water
4 tbs of pure organic honey, organic maple syrup, or Agave syrup – don’t use sugar
Juice of 1 orange if you want (not necessary)
Pineapple juice (optional, but use less sweetener if you do have pineapple juice)
Take 1 tablet of bioperine, piperine also known as black pepper extract, highly recommended.
Simply mix all ingredients together, start with sweetener (honey,maple or agave) and turmeric then slowly add water whilst stirring then add citrus and stir some more. Take a tablet of bioperine (another name for piperine) with this soda,this will improve your turmeric absorption by up to 2000 percent. You will be absorbing all the goodness!
