The Simple Cleanse: The Journey Begins Today

Welcome back!

Today, myself and eight of my clients and friends have begun the simple cleanse.
I will document my journey through this amazing experience over the next 21 days, but first…

Why Cleanse?

We are exposed to environmental toxins as well as toxins in the food we eat on a daily basis. These toxins build up in our systems and cause a number of symptoms from mild to major.

The purpose of the simple cleanse is to remove these toxins from all of the cells and systems in your body, while at the same time, replenishing and revitalizing them.

Amazing things happen when this is done properly:

  • Clearer skin
  • Sparkling eyes
  • Increased energy
  • Increased mobility
  • Improved digestive system
  • Improved organ function
  • Hormonal balance
  • Increased mental clarity

The simple cleanse is basically a major overhaul for your body.
It transforms your body from an acidic state to an alkaline state.

Weight loss is another beneficial side effect of the simple cleanse.
Reasoning being: Most of the toxins in your body are stored in your fat cells.
Because of this, a reduction of toxins from your body induces a reduction of fat from your body.

As I mentioned previously, the simple cleanse is the most beneficial thing I have ever done for myself. This is why I choose to do it 3 or 4 times per year.

Week 1

The first week of the simple cleanse prepares your body and your mind for the next two weeks.

The basic strategy is to eat a plant based diet for the first week.
No meat, no dairy, no processed foods, and no caffeine.

You can have cooked foods, such as beans, rice, steamed veggies, etc…
As long as you stay away from animal products and stimulants.

You should start every day with a green smoothie. :)

My Journey…

As I mentioned, most people lose weight on the simple cleanse.
I don’t want to lose weight.

My objective is to lose fat, while maintaining or increasing muscle mass.

I will report to you on a regular basis, letting you know how I feel and what changes are taking place with my body, mind, and spirit.

Current Stats:
Body Weight: 181
Abdominal Skinfold: 13mm
Waist: 34 inches
Mood: Happy :)
Energy Level: Inconsistent
Focus: Inconsistent

The main things that I am looking for with the simple cleanse are:

  1. Maintain consistent energy levels throughout the day.
  2. Achieve laser sharp focus and concentration.

There are many principles and in depth explanation needed in order for you to fully understand the process and benefits of the simple cleanse.

You will then be able to make an informed decision whether or not the simple cleanse is right for you.

We will be doing the simple cleanse again right after the New Year.
