In the United States, there has been a massive recall of tomatoes nationwide due to an outbreak of food poisoning caused by a strain of Salmonella.
The Center for Disease Control has reported that 228 people in 23 states have been sickened since April 14.
I agree that this recent outbreak of tainted tomatoes is unfortunate. However, it is imperative that you understand that there is something much bigger going on here.
